I was wondering about the Department of Transportation's stand on climate change was because all of their vehicles contyributed greatly to it over the past century and a half. My initial reaction was to scroll on by and not bother reading all the lies buy then...I flipped to see who the current Secretary is and it's Mayor Pete!!

I liked Pete Buttigieg right off the bat for just having the rocks to toss his hat in the Presidential running was good enough for me to take notice. Now, fell compelled to read where his department stands on climate change as odd that may seem. I always had a good feeling about Pete in my gut.
Let me digest what the DOT (aka: Pete) has to say....brb
Ok, spent an hour on the DOT website digging deep and I was impressed while initially skeptical.
"The U.S. transportation sector is responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions than any other sector of our economy. The effects of climate change are already impacting how we travel and damaging our infrastructure. That means the transportation sector, and the US Department of Transportation, can and must be one of the biggest parts of the solution to the climate crisis. Climate change presents huge challenges, and real opportunities to build a better transportation system. Addressing climate change is one of the top priorities of the Department of Transportation."
There I highlighted the action words...lets try a word cloud on their climate change policy and see what we get.

OK let's see what we have here. I'm liking the orange words.
